Lovin’ the GMail

Its a year since Gmail debut and about 10 months since I started using it. In that time the service has gone from kinda klunky to mostly awesome. Today they upped their disk space from a Gig to 2 Gigs. Its been slowly increasing all day, fun stuff.

I actually got my Gmail account from the defunct gmailswap.com. I traded a guy a dvd for the account. This is when invites were going for five bucks a pop on ebay. I broke more than even doing this in the summer of ’04. Sitting on the back porch with the laptop posting invites on ebay and making money. Ahh the good ole days. Google has now said that paying for invites is against their user policy. The market for invites has dried up anyway. isnoop.net has more than half a million invites in their queue just waiting to be picked up.
