A fine album except that I don’t know it as well as their later stuff. They played Mercy Me and This Could Be Love so that was good.
The place was full of kids, I’ve never seen so many people not drinking before at a show. Man I’m getting old. Back hurts, no more standing room only shows for a while.

The day is always full of dissapointments. All the build up to the most fun drinking day of the year can be a let down. The McSorleys line was crazy and put a four hour delay on the festivities. Upper east side bars always suck, over priced and packed with do-da-do’s. On a happier note, we had some good times at McSorleys and the Isle. Went in the Burp Castle and Standing room which i’ve never been in before. Both have a pretty unusual selection of beers. Gotta head back there some day.

The live blogging was pretty fun also. Pictures posted in the gallery. Enjoy.

This post is pretty much a test. Here’s a picture of a stapler I took earlier.

Woh, its been a while since I last posted to this thing. A lot has happened since November 23rd. Chuck-A-Palooza was a success, the Mcsorleys Bash was awesome. Had a trip to Philly somewhere in between, also good times. Kinda getting in the full swing of the season here. Buying presents, sending out cards, freezing. Seriously its like 18 out today. Over the past few days workers have been here replacing the windows. Its a little warmer in the house but its hard to tell because of the bitter cold outside.

There are a few new beers on the list since the last post. A bunch of them are Philly beers. We went to a really out of the way place called Johnny Brenda’s. A hole in the wall kinda place with a long bar and back room with tables and chairs. Looked like a local type Williamsberg bar with Philly-esque hipsters. They had an awesome local beer selection though. Unfortunately I had killer heartburn from the BBQ we ate earlier. The Flying Fish Belgian Abbey Dubbel was served in an abbey glass, real sweet stuff.

Its busy times around here, I’ll try to post more though.

So its raining, again. I have no umbrella since it was destroyed in Montauk so I decided to wear the raincoat James gave me. It works well, keeps the rain out, has a hood, cool snaps. The only problem is that water beads up on it and doesn’t bead off. So when you’re out of the rain the jacket drips for about an hour. Or the length of my commute to work. At first it was dripping onto the my seat and the seat next to me, this was bad. I got up and stood next to the conductors door. Dripping onto the floor, my bag, my pocket pc. Don’t get me wrong the jacket rocks, it keeps you dry, but everything else I came near is soaked.
